20s and 30s Hiking Around Maryland offers local hikes that meet on the weekends. These hikes are generally from 2-4 miles and easy to moderate.  There are some hikes that will be moderate-difficult to difficult, so please check the skill level of a hike before you RSVP. We are a group of walkers who enjoy going out for a nice walk. Generally, walks are in and around Montgomery or Howard County and range from 3 - 6 miles.

Adventuring is the outdoor club for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered community in the Washington DC area. Our volunteers lead hikes year-round, and in the warmer months we do recreational bike rides too, some shorter and others longer. That's not everything though. Active Excursions will  be doing free night hikes at Patapsco every other Wednesday night at 8:00PM.   Active Excursions, has paid all meetup.com fee's so we can keep these trips free!
