We are a group of walkers who enjoy going out for a nice walk. Generally, walks are in and around Montgomery or Howard County and range from 3 - 6 miles.

Adventuring is the outdoor club for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered community in the Washington DC area. Our volunteers lead hikes year-round, and in the warmer months we do recreational bike rides too, some shorter and others longer. That's not everything though. Meet usually once or twice per week to walk/hike Rock Creek Park in DC. Beginner to Intermediate pace, mostly flat gentle trails but mix in intermediate hiking. Mostly 45 minutes to an hour. After may meet somewhere for food or drink depending on interest.  International and U.S. Visitors to DC welcome - a chance to see a local outdoor treasure and meet people in and near DC.

I am forming this group to provide hiking and event experiences that seniors canenjoy and  master. HIkes would be Easy to Moderate 2-4 mile hikes on Fridays or Saturdays.. Maybe a nice dinner after or a picnic. I will advise on what to bring based on the hike ( pets, water etc..)
