This group is for people age 21-35 who love the outdoors and would use any excuse to spend time outside. Many of the similar groups on Meetup are for an older dynamic, and so I believe it is about time a group of this kind is started targeting our generation. Whether it be kayaking, hiking, camping, or just a simple cookout, we will most definitely make the best of what Orlando and it's surrounding areas have to offer!

This group will be what you make of it. I would love for us to meet weekly! However, we will start of nice and simple. Each month we will change locations , walk /hike in different parks, different cities (when possible). The goal is to get up , get out , get healthy and meet new people. We meet once a month to run together and talk about the physiological benefits of running barefoot or with feet that are minimally shod. We're open to anyone interested in learning about barefoot running and have had people of all proficiencies: novice, intermediate and well-versed. We stretch, run, teach and have an over-all enjoyable time being outdoors with other people in-and-around local parks.  Come spend some time with us at your opportunity. There was no Zen Meetup Group in Orlando, so now there is! We will meet somewhere and practice zazen.   Zazen is the mainstay of Zen practice - sitting zen.
