For each day's hike we generally aim to achieve at least 1000ft in total accent and at least 12 miles distance. Whenever I can I get out of London on Sunday morning and walk in beautiful countryside for 10 - 15 km. I would be happy to lead a small group of other people and show you some of the places I have enjoyed over the years. My routine has been to meet my walking companion(s) at Baker Street Tube at 9:30 on a Sunday and then travel by tube, train or car for no more than 1 hour out of London.
