We are a group dedicated to ascending peaks and enjoying panoramic views. We organise day walks in the hills around London from the North and South Downs to the Chilterns and perhaps as far north west as the Cotswolds. Occasionally we will organise weekend trips to the National Parks in the Brecon Beacons (South Wales) and Derbyshire. We may even stray further north into the Yorkshire Dales or The Lake District. The goal is always to achieve a 1000ft total accent in every walk. In the modest pea …
Surrey Area Weekend Walkers (SAWW) is a friendly not-for-profit walking and hiking group aimed at people between 35 and 55, with over 300 members. We also have an up and coming sister group, Surrey and Beyond Ramblers (SABRE), which has no age restrictions, which produces a rolling programme with SAWW. You are very welcome to have two or three free introductory walks before you join us a full member (see further down about membership) Each weekend we have 2 or 3 led walks, of which we're showin …

Chiltern Explorers are based in the Chiltern Hills within easy reach of London around High Wycombe with activities around walking, photography and cycling. The villages and towns we cover are within this area, such as West Wycombe, Little Marlow, Amersham and Beaconsfield to name just a few. All our walks are researched and pre-walked before an event so you can relax and enjoy some good company, great scenery and at the same time keep fit! The Chiltern Hills is an Area of Outstanding …
This is a friendly group for people in their 20s/30s. If any member is a 'no show' for three events in 12 months they will be asked to leave.
Hampshire has some of the most beautiful countryside in England. I live on the edge of South Downs National Park and have spent many years walking in the area and know so many beautiful places I want to share with people. Anyone who likes walking , meeting new people and enjoying great pub lunches should join. I do recommend that you wear appropriate walking boots or shoes and outdoor weather attire when attending any walks. This is a new group so I will be very pleased to hear any feedback and …

I decided to start this group as I have 20 plus years of experience working with a variety of client groups with disabilities this includes learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health and older people. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be involved in community activities in and around London or even further afield. Many people with disabilities are socially isolated and I feel this group would be ideal in terms of social inclusion, meeting new people, making …
